An herbal CSA is a concept built upon the community supported agriculture (CSA) model. The CSA model promotes a more sustainable agricultural system by connecting people directly to local fruit, vegetable, livestock, flower and herb farmers. An herbal CSA share provides you and your family with the freshest, most potent, hand-made plant medicines and products.
Each share contains a selection of natural remedies and herbal products that are handmade from organic, ethically and sustainably sourced herbs that are either purchased from a reputable source, grown organically in our own gardens, or respectfully wild harvested from local unsprayed areas. The products are designed for easy use with the most benefit for a variety of common conditions such as colds, flu, digestion, sleep, stress, and minor skin issues. Each share will be accompanied by an electronic resource that includes information about use, history and benefits for the herbs and preparations included. Some possible inclusions for each share are listed below.
-Scented herbal room spray (relax, energize, cleanse)
-Infused body oil for bath or massage
-Herbal bitters blends
-Hand-made scented candle
-Tea blend made from wild gathered/cultivated plants, herbs and flowers
