Super Healing Salve

Super Healing Salve

from 5.00

The base of this salve came from pine needles I collected at my friend’s farm in January!  Those needles infused in organic olive oil for over a month. Then I strained the oil off and added new herbs and resins to soak again for another month.  The result is a salve that is: antiseptic, astringent, anti-microbial, -fungal, -cancer and -inflammatory.  Resins are from trees that weep sap when they are wounded. Some trees are intentionally scored to collect the resin over time.  This salve contains resins of myrrh, frankincence and opopanax. All of these resins are beneficial when applied to our skin and include the above actions in addition to healing scars and wounds, softening skin, and relaxing muscles.  The salve smells good too! Use it on your temples when you have a headache or rub some on your pulse points.

A lot of folks ask me what salve is for and I tell them: “Everything!”  Truly, salves can be used on all parts of your skin (externally). This salve is no exception.  I have customers who tell me that they even use it on their face when it’s very dry or to smooth the ends of their hair!  The herbs used in this salve were carefully chosen for healing and soothing skin and it would be a great addition to a first aid kit.
